<iOS 14>

 iOS 14 is available for updates this Thursday, September 16th. It was a version that many people wanted to update quickly because useful features such as widgets and back tabs were added. I also wrote the news. You can view it by clicking the link below.

2020/09/17 - [IT/IT 소식, 정보] - iOS 14, iPadOS 14의 업데이트가 시작되었습니다!, 달라진 점은? (아직도 현역인 아이폰6s!)

 I was just using this and that, hoping to get excited about the update and see what's changed, and I found a strange thing! I think a lot of people probably found it easily.

<The green dot on the iPhone!?>

 That's the point that appears when talking to the camera. This point, located next to the notch, initially thought that the LED on the front of the iPhone was newly lit. So, while looking back and forth about what this is, I came to the conclusion that it probably represents the iPhone's currently working features. This is probably the part that many people are embarrassed or didn't know about because Apple's official update announcement didn't include this.

Green dot

 The green dot seemed to turn on only when the iPhone's camera was running. Of course, it doesn't just turn on in the camera app, it literally turns on when the camera is running. For example, the Instagram app's camera also lights up green.

 And when you see the Control Center with the green dot visible, you will see which function is running at the top and which app is running the function on the right.

Orange dot

 And there are cases where that point represents one more point, but this time the orange dot appears. If green was the camera, orange seems to light up when the microphone is activated. Of course, it's not only on calls. If you look at the photo above, you can see that an orange dot appears even when Discord is on.

 As the green dot did, when you go to the Control Center, on the left you will see the currently active function, and on the right, you will see which apps are running the function.

I think you may be wondering why these features were added and what applications are possible. It's a personal thought, but I've updated it so that you can check if it's working normally, as if you were in a situation where you were dealing with classes, lectures, meetings, and work in a non-face-to-face due to coronavirus, as if the laptop had an LED that notifies you when the cam is turned on. The same.
